- One of Ms Fisher's particular interests is mediation of small business disputes. Both as a pro tem judge and as a litigator, she has seen situations where the cost to the client far exceeds any benefit to the client after the dust settles and the case is done. For that reason she offers independent mediation services designed to offer three benefits to the potential litigants - that the issues are resolved in a reasonable time frame, not after months or years of litigation; - that the issues are resolved in a way to allow both parties to continue to work together if they so desire and to maintain a working relationship instead of the winner versus loser mentality of litigation; - and that the cost is not excessive when compared to the resolution of the case. Mediation can provide resolution without expending excessive time, significant fees, or burning bridges.
